This authentic leather case, made to last, simple, and free of irritating logos has been designed for discerning Notebook users who like to combine security with a touch of style. Ackermann, a Lüneburg firm that specializes in the manufacture of good-looking leather cases for the busy executive, seem to us to have got these exactly right. They have a 3-mm-thick protective felt lining.
The leather we use.
Only the best cow-hide from southern German animals is used – poor quality material can’t be covered up by the tanning or dyeing process. The leather we use is 1.3 mm. thick, super-soft, yet extremely tough, and the grain is plainly visible: in every way, a successful combination of functionality and style, and a pleasure to hold in the hand.
