Control and operation.
BZ 10 is ready to use after a little more than ten minutes after switching on. A double pressure gauge shows the boiler as well as the brewing pressure and therefore not only provides information about the operating state of the machine but also information about the correct degree of grinding (is the espresso coffee too finely ground or perhaps too coarse?) and, if appropriate, when decalcification should be carried out. The machine has been set to a brewing pressure of 9 bar. Unusual for a machine of this price range: Steam and water taps, as is the case with larger appliances for the catering industry, are provided with a robust tilting mechanism which makes time-consuming screwing superfluous, and enables a quick change. This advantage is not to be underestimated if you want to prepare several cups of cappuccino or espresso quickly at the same time.

Hot water required for pre-warming cups or for making tea can also be obtained from the hot water outlet. All the details in this appliance have been carefully designed to make a quick and easy coffee break possible. The (plastic) tank with its 3l holding capacity provides a more than sufficient supply of water (if water levels fall below a minimum amount, the machine automatically switches itself off), in the brewing group an additional electrical heater also ensures that the 1.5l of water used by the boiler and the brewing group not only reach the operating temperature at an astonishing speed but also maintain this temperature very precisely.
